It is now easy to capture screenshots on Xbox One and share them online thanks to the new system update. The screenshots captured through Xbox One are of superior quality compared to those captured through PlayStation 4. However, both the consoles compress the images when sharing them on online platforms. Compression refers to the way Xbox One resizes the images before sharing them. The Xbox One’s compression feature ensures that the image quality is not affected much after it has been resized. In some instances, the resized image may lower in quality thus appearing blurry. However, you need to follow some steps to get the highest quality screenshots.
Capturing and Sharing your Screenshot Online
You can buy cheap Xbox One Games online in a number of stores. Operating Xbox One is easy as there is a lot of information online. Taking a screenshot is easy too. All you need is to double tap the home button on Xbox One which is on the controller. This will automatically take a screenshot and save it on your hard disk. Xbox One allows you upload the image to different online platforms. However, if you want to save the image file, you need to upload it to OneDrive or Twitter.
Sharing the screenshot on Twitter, of course, requires you to have an existing Twitter account. The image will not however appear as a tweet but rather Xbox One will automatically create a link on your tweet that directs you to the image which is on your Xbox.com profile. Most people want to share the image on the tweet and will not be satisfied with the link. However, if you follow the link, you can download the image and save it on your computer as png image and later upload it. Downloading the image is as simple as right clicking on it and opening it on a new tab.
Why Share on Twitter?
You can upload the screenshot from your upload app to your activity feed which is simple. However, it is not possible to move the screenshot to a USB stick from the Xbox One’s hard drive through the Xbox One Interface. When shared to the activity feed, the screenshots will not appear on Xbox.com but rather seen only when you look at the Activity Feed on Xbox One. It is only by sharing the Xbox One screenshot on Twitter that you will be able to get a link through which you will download the screenshot from Xbox.com.
Uploading to OneDrive
Once you buy cheap Xbox One Games online, you can share the screenshot on OneDrive as an alternative to sharing on Twitter. This is simpler than sharing on Twitter. The Xbox Live account enables you to log in to onedrive.live.com. When you share to OneDrive, you will see the screenshot in a folder. Open the Pictures link where you will see the image and then open the image in full. After opening the image, click “View Original” or “Download” button to save the image to your computer hard drive. The saved image will be high quality. The screenshot saved from OneDrive have similar qualities to the one on the Xbox.com; both the images have minimal compression to maintain their quality.
