Still trawling Pandora for the suitable loot? Good – Borderlands 2 is every kind of awesome. Or even though Mr Torgue’s Campaign Of Carnage has only just landed – with a bang, no less – a better expansion has already been let slip.
Dubbed Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt, it will be the third of 4 planned DLC packs. Well, the four covered by the Season Pass, not less than. That is not to assert there won’t be more and on the rate Gearbox goes, that seems almost inevitable. Still, little is understood about this new pack beyond its name and its three new Achievements. It hasn’t even been formally announced yet – the sole way we all know about the reason is, some enterprising code fishermen stumbled on the name and Achievements inside the latest patch. This happened with the Mr Torgue pack too, giving us little reason to doubt this news.
Borderlands 2′s DLC appears mirroring that of its predecessor – first a strange side-story then arena-based content – and if that trend continues, Big Game Hunt will be the pack that ups the extent cap. Fingers crossed. We’ve been level 50 for ages now and feature some awesome builds able to go just once we will snag just a few more Skill Points.
The Mr Torgue pack was discovered inside the same manner around a month before it was officially announced by Gearbox, arriving some two weeks after that. Assuming we see similar timing here, expect to be getting your hunt on by the tip of January on the latest.
