When will it be released?

Sony has announced they will be releasing the next generation console – the PlayStation 5. So far there hasn’t been a confirmed release date but there have been rumours of an October-December 2020 release date.

How will it look?
The PS5 will bring to us a radically different look and they are bringing us a futuristic black and white themed console. They have also stated that this is not the only PS5 they will bring to us but they are also releasing a streamlined digital only PS5 console without a disc drive.

How much?
It is likely to be £349 at launch but the price is expected to lower after a few months.

Will it have VR?
Yes! It will be compatible with current PSVR hardware. And there are rumours of PSVR 2.

Can I play PS4 games on it?
Yes! It will have compatibility to play top PS4 games.

Sony interactive entertainment were due to release Iron man VR last year but the date was pushed back to be released February 28th 2020 but once again it was rescheduled for release on May 15th until Sony Entertainment announced it was postponing the games release indefinitely due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic.

They stated – “Given the current situation in the world, logistically, we cannot provide the launch experience our customers deserve,”

After all of these initial delays the release date for Iron Man virtual reality game is finally happening and it is set to be released in the UK July 3rd 2020.

This game will be the first of its kind where you will become Tony Stark and jet around the world fulfilling missions to save the world!

We literally cannot wait for this game to be released and have already got the game on pre order!

Streets of Rage 4 is a revival of the classic arcade beat-em-up. The aim of the game is to move from left to right, obliterate objects for points, knock out enemies and pick up health and weapons. The game mainly focuses on the nostalgia of the original game and is fairly unadventurous with not much modernisation from the original game.

The plot is presented well but not that engaging and can come across a little cheesy. It comes across as quite a silly plot but does pull it off well.

There are however a couple of differences in this new spin-off game than the previous ones, the makers have added a risk-reward twist with that any lost health can potentially be earnt back if you string a combo of standard attacks together on top of it. Weapons are no longer restricted to hand-to-hand combat either.

It’s a simple but interesting minigame and you can easily spend hours playing so we do recommend giving it a try.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite was released on mobile devices on the 21st June 2019 by WB Games and Niantic. It is a game based on the ever popular Harry Potter books and films – but is the new game going to live up to the same hype? It’s looking likely, as the wizarding world go crazy for the new game.

Wizards Unite is an augmented reality game, similar in its scope to Pokemon Go. People play it on the go in the everyday world, but they see different things from the films and books, like certain characters and animals. They are also able to cast spells.

Each player has their own avatar that they create at the beginning of the game. They can also select other features such as their wand, and they can pick their own wizarding career as well. Gameplay involves various magical objects that they will need to collect, like ingredients for their spells.
